The team at Champlain Valley Apiaries is *abuzz* with excitement for this year’s Big E expo! We’ll be located at the Vermont Building, one of six public market style buildings on the Avenue of the States at the Expo.
During this event, which brings in approximately 1.6 million people each year, the Vermont Building hosts a variety of Vermont food and retail businesses which showcase the best of what our state has to offer– including our honey products! You can find us selling comb honey, 100% raw honey, beeswax, books and more. Plus, we’ll be passing out the best honey samples around!

What is The Big E?
The Big E is the nickname for the Eastern States Exposition, an annual fair that takes place in West Springfield, Massachusetts. It’s one of the largest agricultural fairs in the northeastern United States and typically runs for 17 days in September. The fair celebrates the culture, heritage, and agriculture of the six New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
The Big E features a wide range of attractions, including agricultural displays, concerts, parades, food vendors, amusement rides, and exhibits that highlight local crafts and products. Each state has its own building at the fair, where visitors can explore regional foods, crafts, and traditions.
